at Southport on the Gold Coast area of Australia.

The next day was Bailey’s birthday party
and what a party. There were about 80 children
and adults at the party. |

Zack and Stan in the Big Pineapple.
Our next adventure started with a trip north
up to the Sunshine Coast. We saw some of the
country side, the coast, and a place called
the Pineapple Plantation. But the big excitement
was at Australia Zoo. It is a very nice zoo
and it is nearly all Australia animals. We did
not see Steve Irwin but we did see his crocodiles.
Zack, Bailey, and Sam all got to hold koalas
and pet kangaroos and even a little croc. |

Thank you Dream World!
A couple days after getting back to Southport
we went to an amusement park called Dreamworld.
Tiffany had really made some calls because the
staff rolled out the red carpet for the boys.
We all got in free, the pictures taken with
characters were free, and the boys got to have
personal photos with their koalas and wombat.
Zack also took his first ride on a Thunder River
ride, that’s the ride where several people
sit on the top of a large inner tube going down
a raging river. It was another great day. |

November 20
One day we went with Bailey to the auction of
a house. The proceeds were to benefit several
charities and one was Queensland MDA. Bailey
was interviewed for television. |

The next day we went to Cheryl’s house
in Laidley. Cheryl is a friend of Tiff’s
who comes over to help out. Laidley is a small
town out west of Brisbane. |

The second week of our vacation started at the
local fire station. The boys got to sit in a
fire truck and the firemen showed them all around.

Surfers Paradise.
Then we went to Surfer’s Paradise. That
is an area of the Gold Coast know for its surfing
but it also has most of the things a tourist
is looking for. One of the things we did was
ride the Adventure Duck around the Broadwater.
The time we were in Australia was the time when
their school year ends and Surfer’s was
like Ft. Lauderdale at spring break. All the
high school seniors, they called them Schoolies,
of east Australia head for Surfer’s Paradise
to party for a week. |

Sea World
We also went to SeaWorld. Zachary and Bailey,
with their moms, got to swim with the dolphins.
They sat in the shallow water while the trainers
brought the dolphins in close to show the boys
things about the animals and to pet them. |
